Preserving the past while looking toward the future.

The Olympia Mill Village Museum is a place for renewed pride and interest—a place that preserves our local heritage.

The Olympia Mill Village Museum and Community Space’s mission is to preserve the unique local history and culture of the historic Olympia and Granby Mill Villages. We also provide meeting space for cultural, educational, and community building activities.

Visit the Olympia Mill Village Museum

The Olympia Mill Village Museum features three parts: the house museum, the annex, and the outdoor exhibits. The Olympia Mill School house museum tells about life in the mill village in the 1900’s. Additional information about the Olympia School is located in the Museum Annex. The outdoor exhibits share information about historic village architecture, local businesses of the 1900’s, and other artifacts.

The Annex tells the story of the Olympia High School in the 1920’s.

Behind the main building, the Olympia High School Annex tells the history of such a unique school and houses artifacts and collections that tell the story of that beloved school.
